The RIOXX profile should enable UK repositories to be as compliant as possible to the OpenAIRE guidelines and to satisfy the simplest possible requirements as set out in the final report of the RIO extension project: including unambiguous fields for project identifier, funder identifier, DOI, identifier for related dataset, embargo type, embargo end date, access level semantics.

V4OA recommendations are to specify appropriate vocabularies, application profiles and authority lists to use in the OA scholarly communications space, with an established stakeholder group working on terms of reference and governance as signatories to agreements, and there will be a Web resource to act as a focal point for these recommendations and agreements.
